Criss Cross with Sol.

Never Never Never Never Never port onto Solaris on the last day before deadline, especially on a SPARC box. The other way can be considered. No way if it is network code. Danger zone if you are doing something Endian Specific. Dude, you cannot avoid bus errors, try to keep away from leaks at least; or is it the other way round ? Main is your only entry point, and do I need to count the exit points ? So at least you know which way you enter. ‘lpthread’ has to be linked on Linux, need not be linked on Solaris, but everything else has to be.

And remember, there is always a simpler way, which you are yet to explore. By yourself, or through someone. Also do not write code with an empty stomach. Feed your fish and clean some algae on your tank when the virtual wall comes between you and your machine.

Lessons learnt, 24 hours before the submission deadline on Jan 29th, 11:45 p.m., on nunki, the Solaris box for 551 submissions.
